The Project
Did a poster for a song I've been listening to for a while now, specifically this version of Impressions by John Coltrane.
Constant indecisions and ruminating have played huge roles in my struggle with having an obsessive compulsive disorder. This poster has been a test of sorts in deciding and filtering what elements to use and omit to improve the overall layout. It's a test to remind the brain to make cognitive decisions. It's also a step in relearning to trust my instincts when the head starts to fog up.
This is sized at A1, and am thinking of printing this out. Hunting, or perhaps just romanticizing, that certain joy that comes with print. This might be the start to producing and compiling works to put together for a show.
Typeface of choice: Avenue Mono by Boulevard Lab.
